A whole life...
We were born facing the sea in Malaga, where grilling, fresh fish, and hospitality reign supreme. At Las Palmeras, we cook with memory and local flavor: clear, direct, and unpretentious taste.

The story
In 1980, María and Bernardo, along with their children, decided to open the restaurant in the Pedregalejo neighborhood of Málaga. After having owned a grocery store in the Malagueta neighborhood and two stalls in the El Palo Municipal Market, they began this story of dedication and hard work.

The trajectory
1990: A Decade
The Las Palmeras Restaurant-Beach Bar is celebrating its first decade. Hundreds of locals and tourists are served at its tables by the Murillo family.
2010: The evolution
For over 30 years, Las Palmeras has been a key player in the historical evolution of the Paseo del Pedregal, its beaches, and its beach bars, now beach restaurants. And it has remained a benchmark of Marenga cuisine.
2020: The generational shift
Now, and since 2020, after many vicissitudes, Enrique, grandson of Maria and Bernardo, took the reins of the restaurant with the help of his father Enrique.
Currently
Las Palmeras reaps the rewards of all that hard work, the effort made over decades, the search for the best product from each fish market, and the love that only the family itself is capable of putting into its own business.
