Marenga cuisine, in the Malaga style

The Marenga Kitchen

Marenga cuisine is the traditional seafood cuisine of Málaga. That's what it is, and nothing more. The cuisine it always was and still is. A product of the nets and sand, and of the seine nets and fishing boats that fishermen used to fish along its Mediterranean coast.

Our History

In 1980, María and Bernardo, along with their children, decided to open the restaurant in the Pedregalejo neighborhood of Málaga. Having previously run a grocery store in the Malagueta district and two stalls in the El Palo Municipal Market, they embarked on this journey of dedication and hard work. Today, Enrique entrusts the third generation to the helm of a place where, as always, the guiding principle has been to serve food and drink accompanied by the unmistakable sound of the sea that surrounds us.
